Why Choose Life In The Sun As your professional Real estate Team?
Choosing the right broker/agent to provide guidance, assistance, and support is absolutely essential to success in any real estate transaction. When contemplating buying or selling a luxury property, however, working with the right real estate team is even more crucial. Competence, knowledge of the market, employing the right pricing and marketing strategies and techniques are all part of what makes a real estate professional invaluable. But at Life in the Sun we also believe that the key factor for transactions at the highest level is developing a high level of trust and a proper working relationship between the client and his or her real estate support team.
To that end, Chuck Burke and David Charitat founded Life in the Sun Luxury Homes, LLC, with the intent of doing everything possible to earn our clients’ trust, establish and maintain that crucial long-term relationship, provide our clients with a world-class, curated, buying or selling experience, and ultimately get the deal done by helping our clients acquire or sell their real property in a fair, legally supportable, and timely transaction.

While serving with distinction in the Air Force, Chuck earned a Degree in Avionics Communications and Navigations Technology from The College of the Air Force.
After separating from the Air Force, Chuck took the corporate world by storm, entering the workforce as a 23-year-old and rapidly rising to become an electronic systems engineer, troubleshooting radio frequency systems all over the world for a multinational corporation. Following this success, Chuck entered professional sales for several large multinational entities, where he regularly managed multi-million-dollar sales portfolios, led sales teams of up to 30 people, and ultimately was recognized as one of the top sales representatives in the world by Eastman Kodak.
Chuck first became involved in real estate as an investor in 1981 and has enjoyed phenomenal, documented success, both investing for himself and preparing and shepherding real estate investments for his clients. Chuck has been a licensed broker, practicing in residential, commercial, and real estate management, since 2018, when he made a decision to leave the corporate world and dedicate his time and expertise to his real estate clients and business. He is a former investor in Burke Group Real Estate, a highly successful residential brokerage in Brevard County, Florida.
In his real estate practice, Chuck has distinguished himself by his professionalism and work ethic, garnering numerous 5-star reviews, and the recognition of his clients and peers in the industry. His absolute insistence on serving his clients with whatever tools, time, and energy it takes to ensure a great experience is what makes his clients come back time after time with their real estate needs.
Chuck is, and always has been, very involved in the local community. He donates a considerable amount of his personal time to various military-related non-profit organizations, both at the highest level like serving on a Board of Directors and at the “ground level” actually putting in the work need for these organizations to accomplish their missions. Chuck has supported youth sports as an umpire for local Little League and high school baseball for over 45 years.
Despite being a successful businessman and donating his time to various organizations, Chuck is most devoted to his family, including his wife of 32 years, Carol, and his 4 children and 9 grandchildren.
Why Choose Chuck Burke?
No one will work harder to get your house sold or help you purchase the home of your dreams. Chuck promises prompt attention to client needs, passion and energy devoted to the tasks at hand, and a courteous and competent approach to help clients achieve their goals.
